Volunteers Needed for the Exceptional Children's Program
Sundays starting in August during Sunday School

The Exceptional Children's Program is looking for volunteers to serve once a month as a shadow for one of our exceptional children who thrives in Sunday School with a buddy by their side!

Below is information about the program:

  • Shadows are paired with one of our exceptional children who needs a buddy during Sunday School (9:30 - 10:30) so they can participate in SS while their parents attend the service.

  • Each team has four shadows, so the time commitment is one Sunday per month.

  • Middle School and High School students can serve as shadows.

  • If you need to switch Sundays due to travel, etc., that is totally fine! Our teams are very good about swapping as needed.

  • Training is provided, so shadows are equipped with the information they need to support their child.

Join us for a weekly time to reconnect and be with one another. We rotate events weekly: Games & Fellowship, Mission, and an off-campus activity.

Dinner will be served by families signing up to bring dinner on Sign-up Genius. We look forward to hanging out and growing in faith with you all. See you there!

Get ready for a festive night of fun at the High School Christmas Lock-In with ryeX! Celebrate the season with dinner, games, movies, and plenty of holiday snacks. Bring a wrapped regifted gift for our annual Christmas gift swap! It’s a night full of laughter, friendship, and Christmas cheer—you won’t want to miss it!Please pack a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, change of clothes, and whatever else you may need for this lock-in. Drop off is at 6pm on Friday and pick-up is at 8am on Saturday. Dinner and breakfast will be provided!
