RPC member Jonathan Crooks assumes the persona of Nathaniel Pratt, a role he has embraced many times at RPC and across the Roswell and surrounding geographical areas. Rev. Dr. Pratt organized the first Presbyterian Presbyterian Church of Roswell.
Please join Wit and Wisdom Fellowship, Tuesday, May 20 at 12 p.m. (noon) in Alderman Hall and 1 PM the program in the Historic Sanctuary. You will not want to miss the opportunity to hear about the influence of Rev. Dr. Pratt’s as he struggles with moral issues of the North/South, per the dramatic voice of Jonathan Crooks.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) Volunteer
For adults and rising 6th graders through college-age students.

VBS Volunteer Training:
Training sessions will be held on the evening of May 29 and the morning of June 1, 2025. Times TBD. Each volunteer must attend one of the two trainings to ensure that everyone is prepared and ready for VBS 2025.
Every volunteer 18 and older must complete a background check. If you have not had a background check completed with Roswell Presbyterian Church (RPC) in the past 3 years, RPC will initiate one on your behalf for you to complete via email. We will initiate the background check a few weeks before VBS 2025 begins. A current RPC background check is mandatory for all volunteers 18 or older. Volunteer registration will end on Sunday, May 25.

RPC True North VBS 2025:
Children ages 4 (by June 2, 2025) through 5th grade are invited to join us for a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School.
VBS will take kids on an unforgettable Alaskan adventure where the northern lights shine over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and sparkling glaciers. As they trek the tundra, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Guiding them towards Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!.
Children will learn Bible stories, and participate in fun recreational games, music, and crafts. This event is free! We also need volunteers to help make this week a success.

Women's Summer Bible Study

Alderman A/B and Zoom
Join our pastors this summer for our Women's Summer Bible Study, Living with Purpose: A Study in "So That" Living. Together, we will explore key "so that" verses in Scripture - those small but significant words that reveal God's intention and connect His promises to our everyday lives.
The group will meet on Wednesdays in Alderman Hall A/B in person and online, click here to join the group starting Wednesday, June 11. This will be a six-week study, taking off Wednesday, July 2 for the Independence Day holiday.

We’re so pumped to bring back TNT—Thursday Night Thing—our weekly summer hangout for high schoolers that’s all about good vibes, fun activities, and a time to connect.

Cost is $3,500.00 (pending airfare)
Safari with a Purpose!
Join Rev. Carrie Weatherford and Donna Brodsky for a Kenya Mission Experience, June 27-July 5 2025 (the planned trip is 10 days based on airfare the dates may change on the front or back of the trip). The trip is open to adults, 18 years and older.
Participants will serve alongside Zablon Kuria, R.O.C.K. Bridge Ministries and local church leadership with several organizations, schools and students around Nakuru. Trip includes a two-day photo safari.
Cost is $3,500.00 pending airfare. The cost includes: Flights, agency fees, all transportation, all lodging, all food(except maybe 2-3 lunches), 2 day safari and all gratuities. The final cost will be effected by the total number of participants and final airfare. The total of your trip is tax deductible. Payment plans are available.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 9, with a $1,200 deposit with the balance due by May 30, 2025.

ryeX High School Students (current 9th graders to graduated seniors) are invited to attend the Montreat Youth Conference with youth and churches from all over! During this PC(USA) camp, students will engage in keynote, worship, small group, recreation, back home time, and so much and fellowship. We will provide a secure space that is brave, loving, holy, and authentic so that we may glorify God in all that we do, inspiring and equipping a lifetime of faith.

TGE Smokies 2025 is at Ocoee Ridge Camp in Old Fort, TN. Located in east Tennessee, Ocoee Ridge Camp is situated atop the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing amazing scenery no matter where you look. Built in 2016, Ocoee Ridge Camp blends a state-of-the-art facility with getting away from the hustle and bustle for a unique camp experience. Activities include a water slide, wave pool, paintball, ropes course, and more! Add on great teaching, outstanding worship, small group, and ryeX time where you dig deeper, and you'll experience a Great Escape that you will never forget!
