We meet every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at a group member’s home, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment to connect and grow together.

Young Family Fellowship Group
Meets the second and fourth Sunday of the month

This group will meet twice a month (2nd and 4th Sundays) at RPC from 9:30-10:30 am in Alderman Hall A/B and is focused on offering fellowship to young families of RPC. This would include expecting families all the way through preschool and young elementary families.

We’re being intentional to offer this just twice a month, since many can only attend 9:30 worship due to children’s schedules. We don’t want to take you completely away from your opportunity for worship, but we also know that so many of you want fellowship with other parents. We hope this twice a month schedule allows you both time for fellowship and time for worship.

There is childcare and Sunday school available for all little and big ones during the 9:30 hour, as well as childcare for preschool age and younger during all our Sunday worship services.

Please know that this fellowship group will be made up of parents of little ones, which means sickness, sleepless nights, and everything else will cause you to miss Sundays. We completely understand and expect this. You are welcome to join this group whenever it works for you and your family, and there’s no pressure to make it every time. Come when you can!

Rachel Ewald, Founder and Executive Director of Foster Care Support Foundation will be speaking this year at the PW Birthday Dinner!

Rachel Ewald is the founder and executive director of the Foster Care Support Foundation (FCSF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential support to displaced children in Georgia. Inspired by her own experiences as a foster parent, Ewald established FCSF in 1996 in her garage, driven by the need for more substantial resources for foster and displaced children. The organization has since grown significantly, now operating out of a 20,000-square-foot facility in Roswell, Georgia that offers a store-like environment where foster children and children raised by their grandparents or relatives can receive clothing, toys, books, and infant care equipment and other essential needs at no cost.

Ewald's commitment to displaced children extends beyond her organizational work; she and her husband have fostered over 50 children in addition to raising their four biological children and one adopted child. Her dedication and impact have been widely recognized, including receiving the prestigious Commissioners' Award from the Administration on Children, Youth, and Families in 2003 the Ruth Massinga award from the Annie Casey Foundation in 2009, the Angels in Adoption Award nominated by Congressman Tom Price and  a proclamation from the GA House and Senate in 2011 amongst others. Today, FCSF continues to serve thousands of displaced children in all forms of displaced foster, relative, grandparent, kinship and fictive kin care across the State of Georgia, providing them with the necessary resources to thrive in challenging circumstances​.

RPC True North VBS 2025:
Children ages 4 (by June 2, 2025) through 5th grade are invited to join us for a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School. 

VBS will take kids on an unforgettable Alaskan adventure where the northern lights shine over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and sparkling glaciers. As they trek the tundra, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today.  Guiding them towards Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!. 

Children will learn Bible stories, and participate in fun recreational games, music, and crafts. This event is free! We also need volunteers to help make this week a success.

VBS Volunteer Training:
 Training sessions will be held on the evening of May 29 and the morning of June 1, 2025. Times TBD. Each volunteer must attend one of the two trainings to ensure that everyone is prepared and ready for VBS 2025.

Every volunteer 18 and older must complete a background check. If you have not had a background check completed with Roswell Presbyterian Church (RPC) in the past 3 years, RPC will initiate one on your behalf for you to complete via email. We will initiate the background check a few weeks before VBS 2025 begins. A current RPC background check is mandatory for all volunteers 18 or older.

Join our pastors this summer for our Women's Summer Bible Study, Living with Purpose: A Study in "So That" Living. Together, we will explore key "so that" verses in Scripture - those small but significant words that reveal God's intention and connect His promises to our everyday lives.

The group will meet on Wednesdays in Alderman Hall A/B in person and online, click here to join via zoom starting Wednesday, June 11. This will be a six-week study, taking off Wednesday, July 2 for the Independence Day holiday.

Cost is $3,500.00 (pending airfare)

Safari with a Purpose!
Join Rev. Carrie Weatherford and Donna Brodsky for a Kenya Mission Experience, June 27-July 5 2025 (the planned trip is 10 days based on airfare the dates may change on the front or back of the trip). The trip is open to adults, 18 years and older.

Participants will serve alongside Zablon Kuria, R.O.C.K. Bridge Ministries and local church leadership with several organizations, schools and students around Nakuru. Trip includes a two-day photo safari.

Cost is $3,500.00 pending airfare. The cost includes: Flights, agency fees, all transportation, all lodging, all food(except maybe 2-3 lunches), 2 day safari and all gratuities. The final cost will be effected by the total number of participants and final airfare. The total of your trip is tax deductible. Payment plans are available.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 9, with a $1,200 deposit with the balance due by May 30, 2025.
