An Evening of Faith in Action
Light the Way on March 21: An Evening of Faith in Action
Written by Rev. Carrie Weatherford, Senior Associate Pastor
On March 21, Roswell Presbyterian Church will gather for the Light the Way Mission Outreach Auction & Gala—an evening dedicated to transforming generosity into real impact. This event supports mission partners who are changing lives locally and globally, and the video you’re watching offers a glimpse of that mission in action.
Our Mission Outreach is centered on three strategic pillars:
Education
Expanding access to quality learning opportunities for children and adults.
Emergency Relief
Providing food, crisis assistance, and essential support to families in need.
Housing
Helping individuals and families move from homelessness to stability.
Funds raised through Light the Way directly support trusted partners including North Fulton Community Charities, The Drake House, Homestretch, Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb, Child Development Academy, and global mission partners in Kenya, Guatemala, and Mexico, along with other local organizations aligned with these priorities.
This isn’t just fundraising—it’s faith taking shape. It’s grace becoming tangible. It’s us walking into the good works God has already prepared for us.
When you support Light the Way as a sponsor, table patron, donor, or participant, you are investing in lasting change—strengthening families, opening doors through education, and building more resilient communities. 100% of money raised goes out the door to our mission partners.
Thank you for helping us light the way—on March 21 and beyond.
Blessings,
Rev. Carrie Weatherford

At Roswell Presbyterian Church, we believe that living out our faith means serving others with compassion, generosity, and commitment. Through "Mission In Action," we share stories of how God's love is made visible in the world—across the street and around the globe. Whether feeding the hungry, sheltering the unhoused, educating the next generation, or responding to crisis, we partner with local and international ministries to bring hope and healing. This blog celebrates the hands and hearts of RPC members and friends who put their faith into action, bearing witness to the transformative power of service in Christ's name.
