A Night of Generosity: Celebrating the Impact of Light the Way
Written by Rev. Carrie Weatherford, Senior Associate Pastor
What a gift it was to gather together for the Light the Way Mission Auction and Gala. Thank you for the many ways this community showed up with generosity, joy, and a shared commitment to loving neighbors. Whether through donating items, bidding on experiences, giving financially, volunteering time, or spreading the word within small groups, each contribution was part of something truly meaningful.
Together, over $145,000 was raised to support mission partners in education, housing, and emergency relief. Because of this generosity, lives will be touched in real and lasting ways. Families will find stability, children will be given new opportunities, and neighbors will experience hope.
What does it look like to love neighbors in tangible ways? Through strategic partnerships, this community is invited into work that truly changes lives. This video offers a glimpse of that impact and the difference being made every day.
This night was more than just an event. It was a reflection of the calling to be the church. Thank you for being a community that responds with compassion, generosity, and faith.
At Roswell Presbyterian Church, we believe that living out our faith means serving others with compassion, generosity, and commitment. Through "Mission In Action," we share stories of how God's love is made visible in the world—across the street and around the globe. Whether feeding the hungry, sheltering the unhoused, educating the next generation, or responding to crisis, we partner with local and international ministries to bring hope and healing. This blog celebrates the hands and hearts of RPC members and friends who put their faith into action, bearing witness to the transformative power of service in Christ's name.
