Roswell Presbyterian Preschool
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have to be a member of Roswell Presbyterian Church (RPC) to enroll in the Preschool?
How does the registration process occur?
Currently enrolled students get first preference; then church members who are not currently enrolled; then we open to the public through a lottery which is a painless process!
Does my child have to be potty trained to be in a 2's class?
Do you take Visa/Mastercard?
Sorry, only cash or check - we can do auto draft too!
What is your sick policy?
Do you offer opportunities to volunteer in the classroom?
We have a Parent Auxiliary, which is very active with committees to help with specials throughout the year (i.e., Scholastic Book Fair, Family Fellowship Dinner, etc.). There are opportunities to be the "art mom/dad". Most teachers ask parents to sign-up to come and be a "mystery reader", and then, of course, parents sign-up to be a room parent and participate in class parties.
Can I bring my child early if I have an appointment I need to get to?
The Preschool hours are 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and the teachers are hear earlier preparing, attending meetings, etc. So unfortunately, we cannot allow early drop-off. We encourage the parents to ask a favor of a friend to help them in these types of situations.
RPP employs a preschool counselor who addresses social/emotional needs of all the preschool students as they move through their development. She assists children and their families with concerns regarding behavioral, social, and cognitive development as they relate to school issues. The counselor also collaborates with teachers to create the best learning environment for all students at RPP.
