Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have to be a member of Roswell Presbyterian Church (RPC) to enroll in the Preschool?

Church membership is not required to enroll. RPC is an awesome church and welcomes any new visitors! We are a community outreach as well as a church family. Sign up for Exploring RPC Class

How does the registration process occur?

Currently enrolled students get first preference; then church members who are not currently enrolled; then we open to the public through a lottery which is a painless process!

Does my child have to be potty trained to be in a 2's class?

No, they have to be potty trained to be in a 3-year-old class. More details in the Parent Handbook.

Do you take Visa/Mastercard?

Sorry, only cash or check - we can do auto draft too!

What is your sick policy?

We know parents make good "judgment calls" when it comes to knowing whether their child is well enough to go to school. For more specifics and suggestions, please see the Parent Handbook.

Do you offer opportunities to volunteer in the classroom?

We have a Parent Auxiliary, which is very active with committees to help with specials throughout the year (i.e., Scholastic Book Fair, Family Fellowship Dinner, etc.). There are opportunities to be the "art mom/dad". Most teachers ask parents to sign-up to come and be a "mystery reader", and then, of course, parents sign-up to be a room parent and participate in class parties.

Can I bring my child early if I have an appointment I need to get to?

The Preschool hours are 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and the teachers are hear earlier preparing, attending meetings, etc. So unfortunately, we cannot allow early drop-off. We encourage the parents to ask a favor of a friend to help them in these types of situations.

STEAM for the 4’s/5’s

STEAM stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. At RPP, we have a certified teacher who teaches STEAM lessons to the 4’s/5’s classes one day a week.  There is an emphasis on hands-on project-based learning. Students are given opportunities to explore STEAM related concepts based on finding a solution and understanding the connection to the real world using their creativity which is an essential part of innovation.
