ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Rev. Christin Norman

Rev. Christin Norman is a child of Roswell Presbyterian Church and a proud graduate of RPC Preschool (Class of ‘91). She gives thanks to God for the incredible support she has received from her home church over the past four decades. Christin currently serves as Chaplain at Presbyterian Village Athens. She has filled the role since the opening day (February 1, 2021) of this large and brand new senior retirement campus with over 430 residents and 250+ staff.  Chaplain Christin is currently enrolled in her fourth CPE unit and has enjoyed serving as a chaplain in a hospital setting, as well as in a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta that serves persons living with severe mental illness, and in L’Arche communities that serve people with developmental disabilities (Atlanta, Georgia and Dublin, Ireland). Since ordination in 2009, Rev. Norman has led parishes in various roles: head of staff pastor, interim associate pastor, and director of family ministries. Rev. Norman is married to Will Norman who is also a PCUSA minister. They have two children: Jack (8) and Remy (4) who are the apples of both their parents’ and grandparents’ eyes.  Jack got to attend RPC’s Vacation Bible School last summer thanks to his “GiGi” - Carol Johnson. When not at work, Christin enjoys impromptu dance parties with her family in the kitchen and boxing to try to be like her dad - Ron Johnson (who has served at RPC as an elder a few times). She is thrilled to spend time with you all at the RPC Women’s Retreat!
