[REGISTRATION COMING SOON]
Roswell Presbyterian Church is hosting NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) "Family-to-Family," a free, 8-week educational course designed for family members, partners, and friends of individuals living with mental health conditions. Led by NAMI-trained facilitators who have personal experience supporting a loved one, this evidence-based program offers practical tools, helpful information, and a supportive community.
Through presentations, discussion, and interactive exercises, participants will learn strategies for effective communication, problem-solving, stress management, and supporting a loved one with compassion. The class also provides up-to-date information about mental health conditions, treatments, crisis response, and local support resources.
In addition to practical guidance, the group setting offers encouragement and connection with others who understand the journey. You’ll discover that you are not alone—and that there is hope.
Class will meet on the following Sundays: May 3, May 10, May 17, (skip May 24-Memorial Day weekend), May 31, June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28.
We will meet in Alderman Hall Room A-B, with one exception where we have a conflict. In that case, everything else will be the same, and we will move to another convenient space down the hall.
Maximum # of people in the class = 25.
