Carol Choir

Carol Choir meets on Wednesday evenings, 5:30-6:15 p.m. in Elementary Room 217.

In the Carol Choir, 1st and 2nd graders continue to enjoy singing games and playful vocal warmups. They develop their choral skills through learning basic music terms, beginning music reading, and proper singing technique. This group prepares music to lead in worship throughout the year, sings in the Glory of Christmas Concert and the 5 p.m. Christmas Eve service, and performs as the ensemble in our Spring children’s choir Musical. Children are dynamically engaged in learning about the different parts of our worship service at RPC. They spend time learning hymns, and grow to understand how we, as God’s children, can play an active role in the weekly church service.
