Rev. Jeff Meyers

Jeff grew up in Spokane, Washington before attending the University of Washington in Seattle where he received a degree in Business Administration. After interning at University Presbyterian Church, working in finance for the Boeing Company, selling wholesale coffee, producing a radio show, and serving with a hospice care provider, Jeff attended Princeton Theological Seminary.

He was awarded the Religion and Society Fellowship for his writing on Christian ethics and human rights. After graduating from PTS, Jeff served in college and young adult ministry at North Avenue Presbyterian Church in Atlanta for ten years. In 2017, Jeff came to Roswell Presbyterian Church. Jeff is a frequent guest speaker and has preached everywhere from Harvard to homeless shelters. He is a member of Roswell Rotary, The Cloud Appreciation Society, and sits on the board of The Drake House. Jeff is married to Courtney who is an attorney at Alston and Bird LLP. They have a son, Major, and daughter, Memphis.

Rev. Carrie Weatherford

Senior Associate Pastor

Rev. Carrie Weatherford feels called to engage, educate, and equip people both in church and on their faith journeys. She is passionate about the RPC community and caring for each other as a family of faith.

Carrie graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education from the College of Charleston with a minor in Psychology, and she is certified by the State of Georgia in early childhood and middle grades education. Prior to working at Roswell Presbyterian, she taught middle school in Cobb County.

In her free time, Carrie enjoys swimming, running, and reading. However, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. Carrie is married to Jason and they have two sons, Cooper and Taylor. The Weatherford family loves calling Roswell home and being a part of this great community.

Rev. Ryan Jensen

Associate Pastor – Congregational Care

Ryan is excited to serve with the Roswell Presbyterian staff and volunteers to build up further a faith community that feels loved and connected to the body of Christ. He is a native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and a graduate of The University of Memphis with a degree in Business Administration. Ryan served in Shelbyville and Franklin, Tennessee, with youth ministry before receiving his Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. After his first ordained call at Government Street Presbyterian in Mobile, Alabama, Ryan spent the last ten years as solo pastor of Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church.  

Ryan is joined by his wife, Laura Massey Jensen, and their two children, Camille and Knox, along with Indy, the dog, and Jillian, the cat. Laura is the Pre-First teacher at Wesleyan School, where Camille and Knox attend. The family enjoys spending time together exploring the outdoors and loading up the minivan to travel to practices, rehearsals, plays, and soccer matches. In his spare time, Ryan can be found on the river, in the pool, around the grill, and cheering on his Memphis Tigers. 

Rev. Dr. Dan Kreiss

Dan, along with his wife Cindy, has given his career to Christian ministry in international and domestic contexts, all in various lay ministries prior to ordination. They served in ministry in New Zealand for 15 years with Youth for Christ, Knox Presbyterian Church, and Hutt International Boys’ School. Dan completed his Master of Education while in New Zealand.

When they returned to the US, Dan, Cindy, and their four children settled in Bristol, Tennessee where Dan served as professor of Youth Ministry and Dean of the School of Missions at King University. Dan pursued ordination while working in higher education at King and completed his Master of Divinity at Emmanuel Christian Seminary. In March of 2018, Dan was ordained in the Holston Presbytery of East TN. Dan completed his Doctorate in Leadership and Global Perspectives at George Fox University in 2020 and a revamped and updated version of his research is set to be published by InterVarsity Press in 2023.

Dan and Cindy have been married for 32 years and counting and have 4 adult children. Together they enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking or biking in the mountains of East TN and Western NC. They have recently begun taking dance classes together in an attempt to keep Dan from stepping on Cindy’s feet at weddings.

Rev. Dr. Scott Weimer

Associate Pastor - Congregational Care

Rev. Dr. D. Scott Weimer, part-time Associate Pastor for Congregational Care, brings many years of pastoral experience. Scott was once the senior pastor at North Avenue and Clairmont Presbyterian Churches. While in this role at RPC, Scott will focus on the areas of hospital and home visitations, relational ministry, and worship leadership.

In addition to serving at RPC, Scott is currently founding a non-profit, Everything’s a Win “Working to End the Stigma, Shame, and Silence Surrounding Mental Health.” He is the vice chair of the board at Columbia Seminary, is a frequent guest preacher, and continues to be a pastor to many people, especially those who are not yet connected to a local church.
