Resources
|
At RPC we recognize that giving is a spiritual discipline that springs from gratitude. Just as God has loved and blessed us, we are called to respond by loving and blessing others. We give out of our own abundance as defiant witnesses in the face of a world that falsely tells us that we can never have enough. And we give in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ who continues to call his followers to a life of generosity.

Tips and Information
Seven Steps to Financial Wellness
- Pay your tithe* and offerings first.
- Create a budget and track all expenses.
- Live below your means - simplify.
- Establish an emergency fund of at least $1,000.
- Have a valid will.
- Pay off your credit cards. Use available cash for purchases. Use credit wisely.
- Practice long-term saving and investing habits.
*The biblical model for a tithe is 10% of our resources. We understand this not as an obligation, but a model that frees us to give back to God with grateful hearts.
