Dr. Margaret Turney-Ayer Associate Pastor
Spiritual Formation & Congregational Care
770/649-4506
margaret@roswellpres.org |
Margaret Turney-Ayer, Pastor of Care, has served in a variety of church settings (suburban, urban, and small town) in the Presbytery of Atlanta since her ordination in 1983. Most of her pastoral work has focused on spiritual formation as it is expressed through the caring ministries of the congregation. Prior to serving in the pastoral ministry, Margaret expressed her faith through the teaching and performing of music. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of South Florida, and a M.M. from Indiana University. With a strong sense of call to the pastoral ministry, Margaret received her M.Div. from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She is a Spiritual Director and received her D. Min. from our denomination’s West Coast seminary, San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2006. She has served as Associate Pastor for Spiritual Formation and Congregational Care at Roswell Presbyterian Church since January 6, 1997.
Margaret’s family is originally from Florida where her sister and her family as well as her brother still live. Margaret’s niece, Mary, has been a significant part of Margaret’s life since Mary was three. Mary is now twenty and has just completed her Sophomore year at Presbyterian College. Margaret loves to travel, play bridge, go to movies and read. She finds rest and restoration especially at the beach or in the mountains.

Rev. Louis Imsande
Associate Pastor
Minister to Families
770/649-4507
louisi@roswellpres.org |
Louis’ passion is sharing the love of Christ with all, with the desire to help people take one step closer to God, no matter where they might be on their journey. He loves his job, which consists of loving and worshipping with people as a pastor, nurturing and equipping the Family Ministry Staff, and creating new and different ways to enrich marriages and parents. He grew up all over the world, but considers Charleston, South Carolina his home base, because that is where most of his relatives reside. Louis is proudly excitable of his Clemson heritage, and loves to play Lego’s, X-box, basketball, and baseball with his two favorite little buddies: Jake and Luke. He is quick to point out that he “married up,” when it comes to his beautiful (inside and out) wife, Debbie. Louis has been joyfully ministering on the staff at Roswell Presbyterian since the fall of 2002.
