30-Day Prayer Devotional for RPC - Day 30

Day 30

The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. - Timothy 1:5

Heavenly Father,

We pray for the Pastors and Staff of our church, that each of them would always act with admirable character and uncompromising integrity. Keep each of their hearts pure and help them to demonstrate your perfect love to others. We pray that their acts would be genuine and their motives transparent, always reflecting your will. Cultivate within each of our Pastors and Staff a sincere and unshakable faith that is securely rooted in you. Grow this faith within them so that it spreads throughout RPC and creates a movement of good works and esteemed rapport with all whom they come in contact.

Thank you, Lord, for the love and pure hearts of those serving on our PNC. We pray that as they act on behalf of their committee, they will do so with a conscience that reflects your will and your desires for our church. We pray that as they act, they do so in accordance as you have planned. May they serve you and the needs of RPC with a good conscience and a sincere faith to do your work only.

In your name we pray, AMEN.

** We will continue the Prayer Devotional for RPC through Sunday, November 20, specifically in light of the exciting news that the PNC has unanimously approved a candidate for nomination as RPC's next Senior Pastor and the Congregational Meeting will be Sunday, November 20 immediately following the 11:15 a.m. worship service.

We follow the next week with some Give Thanks! devotions and then we will start Advent with our scratch-off Advent 2016 Calendar.

The daily devotion and prayer will be posted to this blog and you can also sign-up to receive this information via text message, text @rpcpray to 81010 or sign-up online.
