30-Day Prayer Devotional for RPC - Day 25

Day 25

Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. - Romans 12:9-13

Dear God,

We are grateful for the people who have been called to service as the Pastors and Staff of RPC and for those who have volunteered for our PNC. We pray for each of them as they do your work in the world. Fill them with a true love for others and help them to show that love easily to those with whom they work alongside. May each of them be quick to extend grace to one another and always honor the people around them with respect and genuine affection. We pray that our Pastors and Staff would be excited to go to work each day and would be eager to help those in need. Draw our Pastors, Staff, and PNC near to you, Lord, and instill within them the hope of your promises fulfilled. Help them to be patient as they wait for new beginnings; we ask that they would have healthy prayer lives and would be able to have designated daily meditation time with you each day. Hold them close, Lord, and fill them with peace.

In your name we pray, AMEN.

The daily devotion and prayer will be posted to this blog and you can also sign-up to receive this information via text message, text @rpcpray to 81010 or sign-up online.
