30-Day Prayer Devotional for RPC - Day 20

Day 20

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. - Colossians 1:10-12

Dear God,

The words of the Scriptures are right and perfect, and the words of Paul fit so well when we think about our Pastors and Staff and our PNC. As Paul prayed for the Colossians, we pray for our Pastors, Staff, and PNC. Lord, we pray that you would grant them complete knowledge of your will and give them spiritual wisdom and understanding. We pray that they would be strengthened by your power so that they will have all the patience and endurance that they need to do your work. Fill them with joy, God! Joy as they go about the business of their days, joy as they work alongside one another, joy as they share time with their families, their spouses, and their children. Let their lives always honor and please you, Lord, and call them each day to learn and grow in you so that their lives will "produce every good fruit". We pray that you would protect them, God, and keep them close to you always.

All this we pray to you, AMEN.
