30-Day Prayer Devotional for RPC - Day 14

Day 14

If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. - Psalm 91:8-11

Dear Lord,

The world is filled with so many plagues that seek to conquer us -- fear, insecurity, addictions, illness, disharmony, depression -- there are so many. But you promise that they will not conquer us. We pray for the strength of our Pastors and Staff at RPC, that they would make you their refuge, Lord. That when they are overwhelmed by those frightening plagues that come knocking at their doors, they would be reminded that evil cannot conquer them. Lord, be a shelter to our Pastors and Staff and to their families; may they know that you are their shield. Lord, order your angels to protect them all wherever they go - as they travel around the world, as they minister to a friend in the hospital, as they walk down the halls of this church - wherever they are and wherever they go, be with each of them and keep them close in your protection.

Protect the members of our PNC also. Remind them that they cannot be conquered by the plagues of doubt or uncertainty or unrest. Help them to know and to feel that they are sheltered in your protection. Lord, we pray your angels would surround each of them and fill them with a sense of your peace and security as they go throughout their day, whether they are at work, or home, or a meeting - wherever they may be, may they know they are in your presence.

In your name we pray, AMEN.
