30-Day Prayer Devotional for RPC - Day 10

Day 10

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

Dear LORD,

We do not know your plans for us. We know you promise a future and a hope and that excites us. But Lord, we fret over the details and we wonder and perhaps worry a little about how it will all happen. We pray for our Pastors and Staff, Lord, as they wait for your plans to be fulfilled. While we are excited about the people and the gifts and talents of those who will join us at RPC, we lift prayers for the youth whom our new youth staff will serve; we pray for the Choir and the Music Ministry for whom the new organist will serve. There are many needs to be filled at RPC, Lord, and we pray for our Pastors and Staff while they wait. We pray that they would not be impatient and that they would not worry, but that they would feel peace about this process and feel you at work in it. Lord, reassure them of your promise and fill them with hope of the great things to come.

God, help our PNC to see the way in which you are working to bring about a hopeful future at RPC. Help the PNC members to be keenly aware of the ways in which you are moving in their lives and in the life of Roswell Presbyterian. Provide them with an overwhelming sense of your promise for a future of good and of hope and help them to heed your call where needed so that they may be the hands and feet of your work. Use them each to fulfill your purpose and your will.

In your name we pray, AMEN.
