Music Ministry

The purpose of the Music Ministry at Roswell Presbyterian Church is to lead the church to worship through music and to provide the congregation with a meaningful worship and musical experience. It is our goal
~To glorify God through music.
~To foster a personal growth in faith as Christian musicians.
~To provide musical education for children, youth and adults, enabling them to serve the church and glorify God in worship.
~To open our program to the whole church by providing a large variety of musical offerings.
~To commit to the music program of the church through dedication, hard work, and service.

You are invited to join us on a journey of faith, worship and praise. Together we can experience comfort, encouragement and communicate the eternal truth of God’s Word as we glorify our Lord through music. We welcome people who have a love of music and a willingness to commit to a vital and dedicated music program.

Artists in Residence - the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra
The Music Ministry of Roswell Presbyterian Church is proud to have the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra as our Artists in Residence for 2010-11, under the artistic direction of Julie Andrijeski.

We are glad to have the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra as part of our church’s Music Ministry and hope you have the opportunity to hear them in concert.  Click here to learn more about the ABO.

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra was formed in 1997 with the goal of providing authentic performances of music from the Baroque style on instruments that were used during that time. Although the orchestra is based in Atlanta, many of its members are on faculty at major universities all over the Southeast. All are specialists in early music performance.

The next performance of the ABO at Roswell Presbyterian Church is Sunday, February 5 at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Along with the Georgia Tech Chamber Choir, they will present Sacred Cantatas, including Handel's Dixit Cominus, based on Psalm 110, and the premiere of Jerry Ulrich's Psalm 46.
