Woven Together: Some Things Never Change - Sunday, August 30, 2015 - Rev. Penny Hill

I am very happy to be with you in worship this Sunday. This morning we find ourselves in the seasonal transition of going from summer break to the structure of the church and school year. This is an example of a rhythmic and expected transition that we go through every year. Though there may be some emotional energy expended with these seasonal transitions, the toll is very minimal. We know we can do it because we have survived it year after year.

However, there are other transitions in our individual, family and church lives that are less expected, that we have little practice with, that we do not anticipate, and thus are much harder to navigate. We all know that Roswell Presbyterian is in the middle of such as transition right now. This Sunday we will acknowledge where you are while celebrating the great history and hopeful future of this church. We will examine God's faithfulness at all times and proclaim that God is with you every step of the way. This will be a great time for everyone to celebrate God in our midst!

Please pray for my time with you as I pray for Roswell Presbyterian each day.
