The Fruit of the Spirit: Faithfulness - Sunday, July 24, 2016 - Rev. Lyndsay Lee Slocum

* This is the complete 11:15 a.m. worship service from Sunday, July 24, 2016.

This morning we are continuing our series on "The Fruit of the Spirit" by talking about what it means to be faithful by looking at the story of Esther. Esther faced many challenges in her call to be faithful and achieve great things in the name of the Lord. Not only was her life at stake, but also the lives of her people.

Esther was someone who was brave enough to be faithful to what God had called her to do. Many times it is not easy to be the person God asks us to be. How did Esther do it? How can we do that today? What does it look like for us to be faithful people even in the midst of adversity?

I am so excited that God has called us to be together and worship this morning. May the Holy Spirit be present and at work as we praise God's holy name!
