Today we continue our journey through the liturgical season of Lent. Lent marks the time on the Christian calendar set aside for self-reflection and repentance as preparation for stepping into new life.
In today’s sermon, we will look at the vice of greed. The Christian tradition recognizes greed as a close cousin to both gluttony and envy. But greed also prevents us from flourishing in unique ways. I look forward to exploring how we can reduce greed’s influence in our lives, so that we can continue to become the people that God has called us to be.
Grace and peace,
