LENT 2016 - Journey to Jerusalem: Getting God's Attention - Sunday, March 6, 2016 - Rev. Brad Clayton
What a great week to be at Roswell Presbyterian Church. Yesterday, our church was filled with volunteers, members, and visitors for Flea & Thee. We also welcomed the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Cadet Chorale for a special concert last night, and we are blessed that they will be leading us in worship this morning.
Today we continue with Jesus on his Journey to Jerusalem. As Jesus is about to enter Jericho, a blind man cries out to him and Jesus heals him. The blind man is faithful in spite of those holding him back, and Jesus answers his prayers. Many of us bring burdens with us this morning. Many of us have cried out to God and are awaiting a response. God is always listening to our prayers, but maybe this blind man can teach us how to pray faithfully.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Brad Clayton
