It has been another great week at RPC. Our youth have returned from Rutledge and our children have been in S.W.A.M. camp! This morning we will continue our sermon series, "Into the Wilderness", by looking at a very important passage from Romans.
Throughout the summer we have looked at many different stories where God's people were traveling through the wilderness on a mountain top or in the desert. Today Paul writes to a group of people who are in a spiritual wilderness. They are worried about what lies ahead, because following Jesus means that they will have to face persecution. But Paul reminds them that there is nothing that can separate them from God's love. There are lots of things in our lives that distract us from God's will and blind us so that we cannot see God at work. But Paul wants us to be convinced that God's love never fails. I am convinced that this day is another gift from God and I am thankful to worship with you!
Grace and peace,
Rev. Brad Clayton
