This morning we are spending time focusing on the word, Peace. We reflect on what peace means to us during this time of preparation and waiting. Peace is much deeper than simply the absence of conflict. In God's terms, 'real peace' comes from the presence of the confidence God is 'with us' in all our lives. Those who were witnesses of Christ's first coming embraced an unshakable hope in the midst of a world of unspeakable stress. In an age of anxiety as ours, it is so comforting to experience the peace that passes all understanding.
May we learn more about God's peace in our lives today as we worship together.
Grace and Peace,
Dr. Mark Brewer
