The Land - February 15, 2012
Throughout Scripture the theme of "land," or a place for God's people to dwell, is pervasive. It begins in the Garden, moves into the Promised Land, mysteriously leads to a Savior with no place to lay his head, and ends with the Holy city. What does all this mean? Together, with Jeff Davis, we'll explore the theme of land in Scripture to see what God has to say about life in north Atlanta in the 21st century.

WEF presentation faith 101 2012 Faith 101 January 11 - 25, 2012
Martin Luther referred to Romans as the spark that lit the Reformation. John Calvin said that Romans "opened to him all the most hidden treasures of Scripture." Dr. Alderman will take us on a whirl-wind tour through this life-changing letter.

In this powerful epistle, Paul explores what it means to speak of the sinfulness of humanity and, most importantly, how God has responded to that sin through the grace filled gift of Jesus. As we walk our way thrrough Romans, we'll explore the meaning of providence and predistination, and we'll discover the foundation of Paul's understanding of Christian hope.

Many of the most basic beliefs of our faith come from Paul's letter to the Romans. These three weeks will help us unpack and explore the meaning of those truths.
