Join us at WEF on November 1 for The Colorful Story of the English Bible led by Michael Morgan. Michael will share the history of the English Bible and his rare Bible collection.
Michael Morgan, a native of Pine Mountain, Ga, is retired from nearly 40 years of service as organist at Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and continues to serve as the Seminary Musician at Columbia Theological Seminary. He holds degrees from Florida State University and Atlanta University, and did postgraduate work at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. He holds the highest certification of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians and has served as dean of the Atlanta Chapter, American Guild of Organists.
“In his presentation and his interaction with the audience, Mike’s deep love of rare books, especially the Bible, shines through,” Dotterweich said. “He invites us to look with him into this unique window on the past.”
Come for dinner at 5:45 p.m. in Alderman Hall and stay for the program that begins at 6:30 p.m.
Join us most Wednesday Evenings during the year for a night of good food, time for fellowship, and interesting and educational programs for adults, youth, and children.
