Suicide Prevention and Aftercare

Speakers: Dr. Stuart Smith and Lin Holoman
We are honored to have Dr. Stuart D. Smith, MA, LPC, lead us in a discussion on Suicide Prevention and Aftercare. Lin Holoman, a Stephen Minister, will speak about how the church cares for members going through difficult situations through Stephen Ministry.
Stuart is a psychotherapist and clinical coordinator for The Link’s National Resource Center for Suicide Prevention and Aftercare in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds graduate degrees in Interdisciplinary Humanities, Human Development, and Psychological Counseling. He has taught college and graduate courses in counseling and in the arts. He also holds post graduate certificates in Expressive Arts Therapy and Addictions Counseling and is on the advisory board of the Carl Jung Society of Atlanta.
