Music at RPC...
Roswell Presbyterian Church has a long and vibrant tradition of fine music and uplifting worship as the
church’s response to God’s initiative with us. From Cherub Choir to Chancel Choir, handbells to instrumental
ensembles, all ages and abilities are welcomed to share their heart’s song with Roswell Presbyterian’s
congregation at worship and in the larger city community of Roswell, through the church’s Celebration Arts Series.
The foundation of Roswell Presbyterian’s musical heritage is Biblical as we read that God places a high priority
on music in celebrating His worship. Praising God in music is commanded of each of us as we learn from
Psalm 66:1-2 and I Chronicles 16:23-35. Using varieties of instruments to praise God is congruent with
Psalm 98:4-6 and Psalm 150…”let everything that breathes praise the Lord.”
It is our goal to have music in worship that is: appropriate to the event and season; theologically and Biblically
based; prayerfully and carefully prepared; devotedly shared as our corporate offering to God, the object of our
worship and praise.

Help Us Make Our Goal!
The Chancel Choir is working hard to reach a special goal for this year. We want to add a new choir member every week…..and we need your help to make this happen. Only one person per week, that doesn’t sound impossible to do.
Maybe you know of someone who should sing in the choir. Maybe you could suggest it to that person who sits in the pew near you, you know, the one that has that beautiful voice during the hymns! Maybe it’s your husband or wife. Or your son or daughter. Maybe it’s you!
It is satisfying and rewarding to use the talents that God gave you in worship. Come join us. Help us achieve our goal.
Chancel Choir rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:30. Just come. We already have a music folder and a seat just for you.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Music Ministry at Roswell Presbyterian Church is to lead the church in worship through music and to provide the congregation with a meaningful worship and musical experience.
