Frequently Asked Questions!
Do you have to be a member of Roswell Presbyterian Church to enroll in the preschool?
Church membership is not required to enroll. RPC is an awesome church and welcome any new visitors! We are a community outreach as well as a church family.
How does the registration process occur?
Currently enrolled students get first preference, then church members who are not currently enrolled, then we open to the public through a lottery which is a painless process!
Does my child have to be potty trained to be in a 2’s class?
No, they have to be potty trained to be in a 3 year old class. More details in Parent Handbook.
Do you take Visa/Mastercard?
Sorry, only cash or check – we can do auto draft too!
What is your sick policy?
We know parents make good “judgement calls” when it comes to knowing whether their child is well enough to go to school. For more specifics and suggestions, please see the Parent Handbook.
Are there opportunities to volunteer in the classroom?
We have a Parent Auxiliary, which is very active with committees to help with specials throughout the year (ie. Scholastic bookfair, Family Fellowship Dinner), there are opportunities to be the “art mom/dad”, most teachers ask parents to sign up to come and be a “mystery reader”, and then of course parents sign up to be a room parent and participate in class parties.
Can I bring my child early if I have an appointment I need to get to?
The preschool hours are 9:15-12:15 and the teachers are here earlier preparing, attending meetings, etc… so unfortunately, we cannot allow early dropoff. We encourage the parents to ask a favor of a friend to help them.
