Atlanta Baroque Orchestra

The Music Ministry of Roswell Presbyterian Church is proud to have The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra as our Artists in Residence for 2010-11. They will present three concerts in our Sanctuary this year: Sunday, October 17 at 4 p.m.; Sunday, November 21 at 4 p.m.; and a Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 19 at 4 p.m.

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra was formed in 1997 with the goal of providing authentic performances of music from the Baroque style on instruments that were used during that time. Although the orchestra is based in Atlanta, many of its members are on faculty at major universities all over the Southeast. All are specialists in early music performance. 

We are glad to have the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra as part of our church’s Music Ministry and hope you have the opportunity to hear them in concert.
