Mission Outreach
Christian mission may be summarized as our call to participate in God’s reconciling work in the world. It is not focused on what we do, but what God is doing to transform the world, including us. As we participate in God’s redeeming work, we will meet Christ and grow in our love for Him and his world.
What good is it to say you have faith but have no works? James 2:14
RPC's Mission Outreach Council takes our call to discipleship seriously and offers you a chance to put your faith into action. Christ calls us to serve Him by loving our neighbors, and we have a host of opportunities available to you to demonstrate that love and engage your faith. Explore the missions listed on this site, and contact any of the Champions for more information. Locally, we encourage you to get involved with the AHMEN (Affordable Housing Ministries Enhancing Neighborhoods) group of mission partners as well as other mission programs. Globally, adults and youth alike have the opportunity to go on mission trips to Guatemala as well as Brazil, Yucatan, and Kenya or on other high school, middle school, or college mission trips. If you cannot participate in one of the trips, please pray daily for our missions outreach volunteers and partners.
As you become involved in God's mission outreach beyond the walls of our church, you will witness the living Christ in the world. Not only will you make a difference in someone's life, Christ will transform you as well for “as we do unto the least of these, we do unto Christ himself.” (Matthew 25:40). God is inviting us to experience the Kingdom of God here on earth. Come serve with us!
