The Carol and Chorister Choirs are for children grades 1st-5th. Choirs rehearse on Wednesday afternoons and are expected to sing in worship every 4-6 weeks. Each week we spend 45 minutes together learning about basic music terms, begin reading music, learn about our voice and the proper way to sing, play games, and prepare to lead worship in song.
Children are dynamically engaged in learning about the different parts of our worship service at RPC and spend time with the “Hymn of the Month” as we grow to know more and learn how we, as God’s children, can play an active role in the weekly church service.
The Carol and Chorister choir join the Cherubs in performing at Christmas in the annual Christmas program and in the spring for the Mother’s Day Musical.
