Details:In 2005, recognizing the needs of the many orphans in the area (the result of
civil strife and diseases such as HIV/AIDS), the leaders of Presbyterian Church of East Africa
Nakuru West began construction of a children’s home and school. Plans are to eventually
care for as many as 400 children.
Other plans include developing a farm on the property to produce vegetables for the use of the
home and to sell in the local markets, providing a revenue source for the home.
