Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly; but the bumblebee doesn’t know that so
it goes on flying anyway! Improbable does not mean impossible! EWW’s mascot symbolizes for its students that with God all things are possible. All things are possible for those who believe and, no matter what others have said, nothing can prevent them from soaring. The theme song
for EWW is “I Believe I Can Fly.”

Details: The mission of Every Woman Works, Inc. (EWW) is to help women move from dependency to self-sufficiency. EWW provides the proper tools to disadvantaged women, enabling them to achieve financial independence, personal growth, family leadership and a spiritual foundation. The EWW Learning Center offers a safe, non-threatening, supportive environment where women who are homeless, recovering from alcohol and drug problems, in transition from the penal system, recovering from domestic violence, or living in poverty can strengthen their self-confidence and develop solid, transferable work skills that lead to financial independence. Core services include: initial assessment, computer skills training/testing, life skills training, personal appearance guidance, resume preparation, interview skills, job placement, and follow-up support and mentoring process.
