The participation of parents is critical to the success of KIDs Club, demonstrating the importance of Christian nurture.

Building Relationships is What KIDS Club is all About
KIDS Club is a four-part, midweek program based on the LOGOS System. The program provides in-depth, well-rounded Christian nurture for children. It encourages the growth of inter-generational relationships which bond the entire congregation into an authentic community of faith. KIDS Club does not replace Sunday school or Worship; rather, it enhances overall church participation.
KIDs Club is designed for children first through fifth grade. Cherub Club is available to preK and kindergarten-aged children. The child must be 4 or 5 years old by September 1, 2008.
There are four-fun parts of each Wednesday night, click here for a schedule.
· Family Time Dinner-Each child sits with six or seven other children and one or two “Table Parents” (adults other than their own parents), giving the child an opportunity to build relationships with other adults in the church. Every week has it own theme (e.g. Sports Night, Western Night, Earth Day)!
· Bible Study-The children will study age-appropriate lessons from Group Publishings’ “Kids’ Travel Guide”.
· Choir-This segment emphasizes the importance of offering our gifts in worship, primarily through singing. Each choir will participate in several Sunday worship services.

Recreation-Each child has a goal for “Rec” time that says we want children to experience great fun at the expense of no one else. Each child has unique talents and all of these talents need to be recognized during play, not just the best, or the most athletic, etc.

While KIDs Club parents are assisting with KIDs Club on Wednesday nights, younger siblings and other little ones have fun too! Kids in the “Tadpoles” & “Sprouts” classes will experience a light schedule that follows the KIDs Club schedule to include playground time, dinner time, story and craft time.
Nursery for all kids up to age 3 (sign in at the Blue Desk)
- Infants up to age 9 months-Room 115
- Wobblers up to age 24 months but were not 2 by Sept 1)-Room 111
“Tadpoles”
- Kids who are 2 years old by September 1 of the school year-Room 112
“Sprouts”
- Kids who are 3 years old by September 1 of the school year-Room 110
All classes and the nursery are located in the preschool wing. Classes begin at 4:45 p.m. & we ask parents to pick up their children by 7:15 p.m. Please pack a sack dinner for kids in the nursery.
Please pack a sack dinner for the “Tadpoles” & “Sprouts” to eat in their class. Dinner for “Tadpoles” & “Sprouts” is at 5:30 p.m. We have a light schedule that follows the KIDs Club schedule to include playground time, dinner time, story and craft time.
Please call the church office and make a reservation for your child for the term or just on the Wednesday night(s) you will be here.
